INSIDE SALES REPRESENTATIVE
Position Details:
Pacemaker Steel is looking for an energetic and highly motivated individual for our inside sales team in Utica, New York.

The position would involve sales for our full line of metal and industrial products. The applicant will work in cooperation with outside sales and other members of the sales team to grow existing customers, create new customers and meet or exceed monthly sales quotas while increasing customer satisfaction.
Summary of responsibilities:
• Generate new and repeat sales by providing product information in a timely manner.
• Accurate processing of customer transactions, such as orders, quotes, returns and stock availability.
• Monitor vendor shipment dates to ensure timely delivery and expedite as needed.
• Establish and maintain customer relationships and provide technical information, as required.
• Salary starting at $23/hr.

Class A Driver (Second Shift)
Position Details:
Pacemaker Steel and Piping is Central New York's premiere metals distributor and we are looking for a dedicated, hardworking and safe Class A Driver for our Second Shift (2:30 p.m. to 11 p.m.).
This is a material handling position to shuttle raw materials between warehouses in Utica, NY. Other duties would including assisting with loading material, and properly tarping and strapping the loads. As time allows, the applicant would be required to pull orders, put away stock material and process material (sawing, shearing). Once properly trained, the equipment used could involve forklifts and overhead cranes as well as saws and other cutting equipment.
All applicants must be physically able to perform heavy physical labor (e.g. heavy lifting -80-100 pounds). All applicants subject to drug testing.

This is a combined position with the applicant required to alternate between the two job duties (warehouse and driver). Applicant must have a clean CDL Class B (Class A preferred).
